The only constant in life is change. But change scares most people. Why should we fear that which we should expect most?
Normally we fear change because we lack the tools to manage it. We hear of large organizations who engage in “change management,” and such a concept is applicable to individuals as well. Change can include improving your leadership skills, making a career change, or completely revamping your personal and professional goals. Too many times, we feel chained to a treadmill by someone else's expectations or we live by other people's definitions of success. We can help you break those chains.
Because every person is unique, each client presents a different set of needs. At one end of the spectrum, some clients want to be taught and trained on a particular subject, so we design a relationship that supports those needs. At the other end of the spectrum, some clients solely want assistance with thinking through their issues and developing solutions on their own, so we design a relationship that focuses more on coaching (defined by the International Coach Federation as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential). Most clients fall somewhere in the middle with either a blend of advising and coaching, or a progression from training to advising to coaching, depending on the subject matter and their particular needs.
In the final analysis, our goal is to partner with you to help you consider alternatives, make sound choices and decisions, and achieve your goals, all while remaining focused on your fulfillment and balance. We are trained to listen, to observe, to customize our approach to your individualized client needs, and to elicit solutions and strategies from you. We take great pride in providing support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that you already have.
For examples of clients we have served, we have guided, advised, and coached individual leaders who wanted to hone their leadership skills or implement certain policies in their offices, fellow coaches who wanted to improve their public speaking skills, and attorneys who sought a career change.
